Facebook Page Integration / Facebook Posts & Scheduling
Facebook Posts & Scheduling
Once a Facebook Page is connected, compose posts, attach photos or videos, and publish immediately or schedule them for later — all without leaving Fiko.
Publish now
Post text, images, or video to your Page immediately.
Schedule for later
Pick a future date and time — Fiko publishes it automatically.
One post list, every source
Posts made in Fiko and posts made directly on Facebook both appear, so comments are never missed.
How to create a post
- 1In the main sidebar, click Facebook Posts, then click Create Post.
- 2Choose the connected Facebook Page to post to from the Page dropdown. If you have connected more than one Page, each appears as a separate option.
- 3Write your post text in the content field. Text is optional if you attach media, and media is optional if you write text — at least one of the two is required.
- 4(Optional) Click Attach Media to add one or more images or videos.
- 5(Optional) Pick a date and time in the Schedule field to publish later instead of immediately. Leave it empty to publish right away.
- 6Click Publish Now (if no schedule was set) or Schedule Post (if a future date/time was set).
Post statuses
Every post created in Fiko moves through one of these statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved but not yet submitted for publishing. |
| Scheduled | Waiting for its scheduled time. Can still be cancelled. |
| Publishing | In progress — Fiko is sending it to Facebook right now. |
| Published | Live on your Facebook Page. |
| Failed | Publishing failed (e.g., expired token). See Troubleshooting below. |
| Cancelled | A scheduled post that was cancelled before it published. |
Posts made directly on Facebook (not through Fiko) also appear in your post list, always shown as Published, so their comments can still be tracked and replied to from Fiko.
Scheduling notes
Scheduled time uses your local timezone in the picker
Fiko converts it internally so the post publishes at the correct moment regardless of which timezone you or your teammates are in.
Cancelling a scheduled post
A post still in Scheduled status can be cancelled from the post list before its scheduled time arrives.
Who can access this page
Viewers can see the post list but cannot create, publish, schedule, or retry posts — those actions require a non-Viewer role.
Troubleshooting
A post shows Failed status
Publishing does not automatically retry. Check that the Page connection is still healthy (see Facebook Page Integration), then use the manual Retry action on the post.
Can't select a Page in the composer
Only Pages connected via the Facebook Messenger channel appear here. Connect a Page first if the dropdown is empty.
Scheduled post didn't publish on time
Fiko checks for due scheduled posts on a short interval, so publishing may lag by up to a minute or two from the exact scheduled time — this is expected. If it's significantly delayed, check the Page's connection health.
Needs product confirmation
- Maximum number/size of media attachments per post.
- Whether Draft posts (saved but not scheduled/published) are exposed in the current UI.
- Exact polling interval for the scheduling check, for setting user expectations on publish delay.
- Whether a Published post can be edited or deleted from Fiko after the fact.
