Contacts

Search, review, and update customer contact details from one workspace. The Contacts page helps your team find people quickly, filter by channel and language, and keep profile information current.

Overview

The Contacts page gives your team a single place to review customer records collected across connected channels. Use it to search by name, email, or phone number, inspect which channels a contact belongs to, and update profile details such as nickname, address, and notes.

  • Search contacts by name, email, or phone number
  • Filter the list by channel, language, and contact info availability
  • Review channel associations directly from the table
  • Open the contact drawer to edit contact details

Contacts Table

The main table is designed for quick lookup. Each row represents one contact record and shows the most useful fields for day-to-day support work.

Available columns

  • Name and Nickname for easy identification
  • Email and Phone so agents can confirm available contact details
  • Channels shown as badges when the contact exists in one or more connected channels
  • Language and Created date for extra context

Pagination and counts: The page shows a running contact count below the table and automatically displays pagination controls when more than one page of results is available.

Filters & Search

Use the search box above the table together with the filter sidebar to narrow large contact lists quickly.

1

Search by name, email, or phone

The search field supports the placeholder "Search by name, email, or phone...". Results update after a short delay as you type.

Use the search field above the table
2

Use the filter sidebar

Refine the contact list using built-in filters:

  • Channels: filter contacts by connected channels
  • Language: filter by languages found in the current contact data
  • Contact Info: use Has email and Has phone to focus on contacts with the information you need

About language filters: The language filter only shows languages that exist in the currently loaded contact data. If no language data is available, the sidebar shows an empty-state message instead of a language list.

Edit Contact Details

If you have edit permission, click the edit icon on a contact row to open the Contact Details drawer on the right side of the screen.

1

Open the Contact Details drawer

The edit action opens a drawer where you can review and update the selected contact. Viewer accounts can open the page but cannot save changes.

2

Review and update the contact

Edit the fields available in the drawer:

  • Editable fields include Name, Nickname, Email, Phone, Address, and Notes
  • Associated Channels are displayed as badges for reference
  • Use Save to apply updates or Cancel to close the drawer without saving

Best Practices

Keep your contacts clean and useful

  • Keep contact records clean by standardizing names, phone numbers, and notes
  • Use filters before bulk review so you can focus on the right channel or language group
  • Add notes for context that helps future agents handle the same customer faster
  • Review contacts with missing email or phone data when preparing follow-up campaigns

Troubleshooting

No contacts found

Check your search term and active filters first. The empty state can also appear when your workspace has no synced contacts yet.

Cannot save changes

Viewer access can open the Contacts page, but saving is disabled. Ask a Company Admin if you need edit permission.

Some filters are empty

The sidebar only shows channels and languages available in your current workspace data. If a section is empty, verify that contacts and channels are already connected in Fiko.

Missing email or phone

Some contacts may not have email or phone data if those details were never provided through the connected channel. Use the Has email and Has phone filters to identify gaps and follow up accordingly.
