Comment Moderation & AI Auto-Reply
When someone comments on a post from your connected Facebook Page, Fiko drafts a suggested reply using the same AI that powers chat auto-replies. Every suggestion goes through a dedicated Page Comments queue — kept separate from your chat moderation queue — so you always know whether you're approving a private message or a public reply.
AI-drafted replies
Every new comment on a connected Page gets a suggested reply, ready to review.
Separate from chat
Public comment replies never mix with your private chat approval queue.
Off by default
A human approves every public reply unless your company explicitly opts into auto-send.
How it works
- 1A comment is posted on any post on your connected Facebook Page — whether that post was created in Fiko or directly on Facebook.
- 2Fiko generates a suggested reply and places it in the Page Comments queue for review (unless your company has enabled auto-send — see below).
- 3A moderator opens the queue, reads the original comment and the AI suggestion, optionally edits the reply text, then approves or rejects it.
- 4Approving posts the reply (edited text if you changed it, otherwise the original suggestion) publicly on Facebook, threaded under the original comment. Rejecting discards the suggestion — nothing is sent.
Reviewing the Page Comments queue
- 1In the main sidebar, click Page Comments.
- 2Each card shows the commenter's name, their comment, and Fiko's suggested reply in an editable text box.
- 3Edit the suggested reply if needed, then click the Approve button to send it, or the button to reject it.
- 4If the original comment is deleted on Facebook before you act on it, it's automatically removed from your queue.
Auto-send (optional)
High-confidence AI replies to chat DMs can already be configured to send automatically without manual approval. The same capability exists for public comment replies, but is off by default — a public reply carries more reputational risk than a private one, so your company must explicitly opt in before any comment reply is ever sent without review.
Consider your confidence threshold carefully
Once enabled, high-confidence replies post publicly with no human in the loop. Start with manual review, and only enable auto-send once you've seen consistent suggestion quality for your Page.
Triggering automations on new comments
"Facebook Comment Received" is available as a trigger in Automations → Workflows, the same builder used for chat automations. Attach an AI Auto-Reply step to it to customize how comment replies are generated for that workflow, the same way you would for a chat automation.
Where to find it
Automations → Workflows → Create Workflow → select Facebook Comment Received as the trigger.
Who can access this page
Viewers can see the Page Comments queue but cannot approve or reject a reply — approving/rejecting requires a Company Admin role.
Troubleshooting
No suggestion appears for a new comment
Check the Page's connection health — a revoked or expired token stops both comment ingestion and reply sending. Comments made by your own Page (not a customer) are also intentionally skipped and never get a suggestion.
Approving a reply fails
This can happen if the original comment was deleted on Facebook between when the suggestion was generated and when you approved it. Refresh the queue.
Every comment on a busy post gets a suggestion — can I limit this?
Not in the current version — every comment on a connected Page is eligible for a suggestion, with no per-post opt-in or keyword filtering yet.
Needs product confirmation
- Exact location/label of the per-tenant auto-send toggle for public comments in Settings.
- Whether nested/threaded replies are visible in the queue UI or shown as a flat list.
- Confidence threshold defaults and whether they're tenant-configurable for comments specifically (vs. chat).
- Whether a sent reply can be edited or deleted from Fiko after approval.
