Cost Optimization Strategies
Use Usage Analytics to optimize your token consumption and costs:
Optimize AI Features
If AI replies consume most tokens, review your AI rules and triggers. Refine criteria to apply AI only to conversations where it provides the most value.
Channel-Specific Strategy
If certain channels consume disproportionate tokens, evaluate whether AI features are appropriately configured for each channel.
Translation Optimization
If translation is a major cost, consider selective translation for critical messages only, or focus on team communication in primary languages.
Knowledge Base Investment
Invest in a comprehensive knowledge base and canned responses to reduce reliance on AI-powered features.
Budget planning: Use your historical usage data to predict future token needs and plan purchases. If your usage is growing rapidly, purchase tokens in advance to avoid service disruptions.
